W.C. Coleman, a young salesman, was taking a stroll after a hard day's work selling typewriters when he spotted a new type of lamplight in a drugstore window in Brockton, Alabama. This new light burned with a strong, steady white flame and was fueled by gasoline, unlike the standard lamp of the era which burned kerosene and produced a smoky, flickering, yellowish light. W.C. Coleman, who had very poor eyesight, was very interested in this new, steady white light that enabled him to read even the smallest print in books and on medicine bottles. He saw the potential in the new light and through his vision, a new company was born that would put America's farms and ranches in a new light and would eventually make his name synonymous with outdoor fun.

As an iceless cooler, it chills everything inside to 40°F below the surrounding temperature. You can simply plug it into your outlet at home (with a separate adaptor) or in your vehicle with the included power cord, and the quiet, long-lasting motor will do the work. It's large enough to hold 44 cans and works as a chest or upright like a small refrigerator with a door that converts to open from either side, making it perfect for the office, dorm rooms, RVs, campers, truck cabs, cars, boats, and SUVs. The lightweight travel design, weighing only 18 lbs., allows you to easily move it to and from your car or truck. With a 12V plug (5 Amps/60 Watts) and an 8-ft. power cord, you can power the pump from your car or boat outlet.
